Covid19 – Shutdown

GOOD NEWS for most of our customers, we are able to provide support during the shutdown as IT and its support services are considered an essential service. HOWEVER it is limited to SUPPORTING ESSENTIAL SERVICES.including health, education, ISP’s, food and transport, see the MBIE website for a complete list. MBIE WEBSITE

NOTE1: This DOES include support of computers used for schoolwork, Wintec and University  (INCLUDING devices used for students to work from home).

NOTE2: During this period we will support ANY type of device used by essential services, PC’s, Laptops, Phones, Tablets, Video Conferencing, Video Surveillance, Routers, Modems, WIFI and any other Electronics (including microsoldering and electronic repairs) as well as our normal Apple customers.

We will provide this on the following basis:

– REMOTE SUPPORT – ring us to arrange (we use TeamViewer, download from the Remote Support link on the left side menu)

– ONSITE SUPPORT – only for URGENT faults –  conditions will apply (PPE, Distancing etc)

– WORKSHOP REPAIRS – by appointment.

– NO “While you wait” repairs.

Where possible, we require your device to be bought to us, we will meet you at the workshop – physical distancing rules apply!!!.

We will sterilise your device (do not attempt this yourself), we will ALWAYS do this, even if you have already attempted it, ITS FOR OUR SAFETY! and it takes about an hour before we can begin work)

We will assess, quote and repair your device if it meets the MBIE guidelines for essential services and then arrange a time for you to pick it up. 

We do still have access to parts and can still order parts – but it takes time to deliver as these are ALL ONLINE ORDERS ONLY!.

The workshop is closed to the public (front door locked, lights off). We are splitting our time working from home and working in the workshop, but can meet you at the workshop by appointment. PLEASE PHONE TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT (07 8490289).
